Xiaomi Redmi K30: Stolen Photos Confirm The 120Hz Screen And Its SoC

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 continues to appear on the run. Photos of a test device confirm part of the data sheet found in MIUI code 11.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro were among the most popular devices in 2019, and rightly so: their resolutely high-end specifications were contained in a very affordable price. In China, the latter were none other than the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro.

The succession is approaching! The Redmi K30 began to appear as the brand’s official teaser and in a few leaks on its technical capabilities. Today, XDA Developers allows us to confirm some information.

Redmi K30 Confirms Its Technical Data in Photo

The site has indeed spotted photos posted on Chinese social networks of a Redmi K30 in a hull generally used to camouflage a device to come.

On these, we can’t really appreciate the design of the next device in the range… but we can still confirm some technical information.

We can see that the latter would be well equipped with a 120 Hz refresh rate display, since the option appears directly on the smartphone and its MIUI version.

A quick look at AIDA64 shows us that this screen would be in Full HD definition. Finally, the same application reveals the presence of an Adreno 618 in the device.

This is the GPU chip integrated into the Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G, confirming Xiaomi’s choice of SoC for its next generation.

Redmi K30 Pro To Be Announced Soon

This would be the Redmi K30, which also has 64 GB of storage in this version. However, it is likely that a Pro version will arrive, and directly integrate the Snapdragon 865.

It is not really difficult to establish it, since this next generation seems to follow the same logic as the current one. The Xiaomi Mi 9T (Redmi K20 therefore) is already equipped with the Snapdragon 730,

while the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro) has the Snapdragon 855 and it is also said that the Redmi K30 will benefit from the 5G, which should certainly concern the Pro variant.

If these data sheets are already attractive, it remains to be seen which design will adopt these two smartphones.
